It’s payback time! Where payback involves cheese and/or grunge music.
There have been more lines drawn in the bitter- previously irrelevant- rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks. Following an island in Washington state banning cheese until their team has had a chance to battle Green Bay, a radio station in Wisconsin has banned all Seattle-based music from its airwaves. As Yahoo! Sports reports, 94.5 “The Lake” in Milwaukee will not play any songs from the likes of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Heart, or any other act with ties to sh*tty weather. Presumably the artists will be back in the station’s rotation after the NFC Championship game, regardless of which team comes out on top.
