Sometimes commercials actually connect with an audience. Crazy, right? Take for example Serena Williams’ recent Beats by Dre ad. Sure, we’ve read that Beats makes garbage headphones,), but the point isn’t he product, it’s the production of the advertisement that starred Serena. Part music video, part highlight reel, and a whole lot of inspiration translates to me wanting to get off of my duff and run, or lift weights, or do P90X or … you get the idea. The 21-time singles Grand Slam title winner explains that Serena’s story has been filled with ups, downs, lefts, rights, doubts, haters, injuries, comebacks, and victories.
